All age grade contact matches and training sessions will require a level of pitch-side first aid that aligns with the RFU’s Pitch-side First Aid & Immediate Care Standards, or a club’s specific risk assessment. Age Grade Affiliation & Summer Activity Age Grade Affiliation went live on 1 July and has seen over 15,000 players affiliate with clubs across the county. FOR AWARENESS Red Roses: The Next Generation August 2022 will see the launch of the new U16 Girls England Rugby Developing Player Programme (ERDPP). The programme is designed to be a coach and player development programme and will focus on raising the standards of coaching as well as playing to support raising standards across the game. The programme, delivered by CB’s, will provide the first step in the England Rugby Player Pathway and give thousands of girls the same opportunity as the boys’ pathway. Reminder of Needs Based Travel Funding Last week clubs should have received an email regarding the needs based travel funding for the 2022/2023 season. Like last year, clubs will need to apply for funding; you can find the application form in this section. International Ticket Allocation 20 July will see clubs’ international ticket contacts receive an email regarding the indicative ticket allocation.
