Locker stash was thrilled to present The CRFU and Trelawny’s Army with a cheque for £120. This had come from recycling and re-homing pre-loved, unwanted county rugby shirts to players and fans across this country and the world.
Locker stash CIC are a not-for-profit organisation who work up and down the country with sports clubs, working to make them more environmentally friendly by recycling their old unwanted sports kit, finding it new loving homes or repurposing and reinvesting all profits back into grassroots sports and community-based causes.
The county signed up to our partnership back in July of this year, and kicked the relationship off by giving sets of old shirts, both parties hope this will be the first of many recycling ventures the 2 organisations do together, raising funds for clubs and age groups across Cornwall. The profits from these were presented to Trelawny’s Army Secretary Ian Gordon by Locker stash representative Guy Hamer
