As we are about to enter a new era of Cornish women’s rugby, no matter what happens this season, this will be the first time the women’s team has been in division 2 of the competition after winning promotion last year, becoming champions of division 3.
The History Makers are back and with the competition stepping up so is our coaching team, we are adding some strengths in to our team with the addition of Verity Holden as recently retired Champion Captain last season Verity is a utility coach who can help both the forwards and the backs!
We are also adding another Kernow legend in Alex ‘Smith’ Hutchings to help coach the Backs bring in her winning mentality and drive the team forward.
Ronan returns as our defence coach and as always helps us to continue to push in making this the best team we can be with his experience and enthusiasm.
I am also back as Forwards coach and I will do my best to keep us making history and take women’s rugby in Cornwall to new levels.
And to hold us all together our glue of the team Jess Humber completes our squad as Team Manager, she will be our point of contact for all the important decisions .
