It is with great sadness that the President and members of Cornwall RFU were informed this morning of the passing of Dave Martin, aged 83 following a short illness.
Dave stepped down from his role with the CRFU last June, having served for over 40 years on various committees, serving as President 2009-12, Chairman 1992-95, he was also our Representative on the RFU 2002-16, again serving on several RFU committees.
He will also be remembered for his match commentaries on BBC Radio Cornwall, notably the 1991 final at Twickenham.
The CRFU offer their sincerest and heartfelt condolences to Bridget and other members of the family.
Funeral arrangements are as follows;
Monday 10th October 2022
1.30pm Celebration Service at All Saints Church, Killigrew Street, Falmouth TR11 3PN
Followed by the wake at Falmouth Hotel, Castle Beach, Falmouth TR11 4NC
Falmouth Recreation Ground is available for mourners to park.
