CRFU President John Sumnall visited Helston RFC last Saturday attending their home game against Illogan Park.
Whilst there John learned of the club’s plans to get more involved in the local community and he had this to say. “I was very interested in your present work whereby the Club is becoming more involved in the community which will be greatly aided by the provision of a new kitchen. This will not only enable the Club to provide hot food to spectators on match days but also to involve provision for meals during the week for specific groups. Very sensibly you are using your facilities to be further involved in the community by the hosting of mental health groups with the possibility of further groups to follow.”
