Cornwall U.18’s travelled to Okehampton College for their second inter – county festival.
First game against Gloucestershire saw a tight first half, Gloucestershire showing up strongly in second stanza, the girls stuck to the task in heavy conditions.
In the second game against Somerset the girls started to hit their straps putting up an improved performance all round with a try being scored by Paige Clarke.
The third game was against the old enemy Devon. Our forwards dominated the first half owning scrums, rucking and mauling. They battled on throughout the game nearly getting a deserved score right at the death but they were sadly just denied. Devon winning by just a 5-0 margin.
Ronan getting his first taste of girls county matches aided by John Paul and first aiders.
Fantastic play from all the girls today looking forward to carrying it forward for our Cornwall festival in two weeks.
Unfortunately couple injuries wishing those a speedy recovery.
